You have to push in the clutch when you come to full stops or start with it in gear (manual cars, nowadays, won't start unless you have the clutch in, even in neutral. It's a safety feature). You also have to release the clutch real slow and give it a bit of gas in this game to take off.
I've installed several mods (Russian maps and trucks), but they are not suited for 1.34 version, they are compatible only with 1.33 version. Now, the game either crashes or the truck won't move. Since Steam is pushing updates without my consent (how generous of them that they give me an option how do I want my updates and do not give me the option to chose IF I WANT THOSE UPDATES AT ALL) I
If you happen to have realistic air brakes option turned on, you may have drained your compressed air. Put your gearbox in N and wait for the compressor to refill the reservoir. In real life, air brakes are only used in dangerous situations or when coming to a halt. For adjusting speed and regular braking the retarder is used.
(Or something similar) MY friend and I have been driving convoys together for the longest time, but since the last update we are struggling to connect over the internet, sometimes it can take ten tries when joining the convoy and sometimes it wont connect at all. We are both having swap around hosting, but sometimes it's just rinse/repeat. Anyone else getting this problem at all? ːnogoː
Also I'm not sure if it will work, but go into the gameplay settings and turn off a setting called auto engine start (or whatever its called) this might stop it from turning back on due to the throttle being slightly on from there being no deadzone. It sometimes does that if you use cruise control, or you might have pressed the retarder key. Press the retarder decrease key a couple of times to release it, I think it's . by default. early on today i was playing the game with a streering wheel like i normally do and then i started a new quick job and the truck wouldnt move. so i left the game and came back to it later and the truck still wont move even with the keyboard. help please

I'm having a problem which doesn't let me play. My truck refuses to accelerate no matter what I press. Keyboard, gamepad and pedals work just fine, but truck still doesn't go. What causes this issue and how do I fix it? No matter what I buttons I assign it just doesn't work. Though configuration is perfectly fine, there are no conflicts with axises. UPD: somehow everything returned to normal

You're taking turn/bends too harshly and/or at too high a speed if you're flipping the truck, regardless of chassis - try slowing down or taking them gradually and I'd wager ye won't be flipping over anymore. #2.
